Carpet Cleaning Services

What types of carpet cleaning we provide?

Hot water extraction

Hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning, is a highly effective method for cleaning carpets and upholstery. It works through a combination of heat, water, cleaning solutions, and mechanical action. Here's how the hot water extraction process works:

Encapsulation

Encapsulation is a carpet cleaning method that is often used for commercial or low-moisture cleaning of carpets. This method is designed to clean the surface of the carpet and capture soil, dirt, and stains within a crystallizing polymer or detergent. Encapsulation process is as follows :-

Improved Air Quality

Carpets can trap dust, allergens, and pollutants over time. Cleaning them helps remove these contaminants, leading to better indoor air quality.

Health Benefits

Clean carpets contribute to a healthier living environment, especially for individuals with allergies or respiratory issues.

Prolonged Lifespan

Regular cleaning extends the life of your carpet by preventing the buildup of dirt and grime that can wear down the fibers.

Prevent Mold & Mildew

Damp or dirty carpets can become breeding grounds for mold and mildew. Regular cleaning helps prevent these issues.

Enhanced Appearance

Clean carpets look better and create a more appealing and comfortable living space.

Process Of Hot Water Extraction

Hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning, is a highly effective method for cleaning carpets and upholstery. It works through a combination of heat, water, cleaning solutions, and mechanical action. Here’s how the hot water extraction process works:

Pre-Inspection: The process begins with a thorough inspection of the carpet to identify any specific areas of concern, such as stains or heavily soiled areas.

Vacuuming: The carpet area is thoroughly vacuumed to remove all superficial dirt.

Pre-Treatment: A cleaning solution is applied to the carpet. This solution may include a detergent or a specialized cleaning agent that helps break down dirt, grime, and stains.

Hot Water Extraction: Hot water extraction machines, which are specialized carpet cleaning equipment, are used. These machines have a tank for hot water and a separate tank for a cleaning solution. The hot water is mixed with the cleaning solution and sprayed onto the carpet.

Extraction: The machine’s powerful vacuum system immediately extracts the hot water, cleaning solution, and dislodged dirt from the carpet. The high-pressure extraction process helps remove most of the moisture from the carpet, leaving it only slightly damp.

Drying: After hot water extraction, the carpet is left to dry. It’s essential to ensure thorough drying to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Advantages Of Hot Water Extraction

Deep Cleaning: Hot water extraction is one of the most effective methods for deep cleaning carpets and upholstery. It reaches deep into the fibers, removing dirt, grime, and allergens that may be trapped there.

Stain Removal: The combination of hot water and cleaning solutions effectively breaks down and removes stains, leaving your carpets and upholstery looking refreshed.

Allergen and Bacteria Removal: The high temperature of the water used in hot water extraction helps kill and remove bacteria, dust mites, and allergens, which can improve indoor air quality and benefit those with allergies or respiratory issues.

No Residue: When performed correctly, hot water extraction leaves minimal residue behind, reducing the risk of dirt buildup and re-soiling. This makes it a suitable choice for maintaining a cleaner carpet over time.

Restores Appearance: Carpets and upholstery often look visibly cleaner and more attractive after hot water extraction, as the process can rejuvenate their appearance.

Safe for Most Fabrics: When conducted by a professional, hot water extraction is generally safe for most carpet and upholstery materials.

Longevity: Regular hot water extraction can help prolong the life of your carpets and upholstery by preventing the buildup of dirt and grime that can wear down the fibers over time.

Health Benefits: Cleaner carpets and upholstery can contribute to a healthier indoor environment, reducing the risk of allergic reactions and respiratory problems.

What is Encapsulation Process?

Encapsulation is a carpet cleaning method that is often used for commercial or low-moisture cleaning of carpets. This method is designed to clean the surface of the carpet and capture soil, dirt, and stains within a crystallizing polymer or detergent. The encapsulation process is as follows:-

Preparation: Before starting the process, the carpet is vacuumed to remove loose dirt and debris.

Vacuuming: The carpet area is thoroughly vacuumed to remove all superficial dirt.

Application of Encapsulation Solution: An encapsulation cleaning solution is applied to the carpet. This solution typically contains a combination of detergents and polymers. These detergents break down the dirt and soil on the carpet fibers, while the polymers encapsulate the dirt, forming into tiny crystals.

Drying: Unlike traditional steam cleaning, encapsulation uses minimal water. As a result, the drying time is much quicker. The encapsulation solution dries within a relatively short period, usually within an hour or two, and the crystallized dirt is left behind.

Final Vacuuming: After the encapsulation solution has dried, a thorough vacuuming is performed. The vacuuming process extracts the encapsulated dirt, along with the polymer crystals, leaving the carpet clean.

Advantages Of Encapsulation

Quick Drying: Because it uses minimal moisture, the carpet typically dries much faster compared to methods like hot water extraction.

Low Re-Soiling: The polymer crystals that remain on the carpet fibers tend to repel dirt and soil, which can help keep the carpet cleaner for a longer period.

Suitable for High-Traffic Areas: Encapsulation is often used in commercial settings and high-traffic areas where quick drying is essential.

Less Disruption: Due to its quick drying time, the disruption to the space being cleaned is minimized.
